Beaches
The beaches of Pieria have several alternations and there are some parts of it with pebbles and stones and others with sand. Ancient Dion
Ancient Dion is an archeological site of the ruins of the ancient city of Macedonia, on the border of Thessaly near Thermaikos and the river Aliakmonas. It is said that it took its name from the temple of Zeus the Highest, whose foundations can be seen today near the temple of Isida.
Palaios Panteleimonas
This village is one of the most beautiful and picturesque villages you will ever visit. There time stops and you have a unique opportunity to enjoy a wonderful landscape full of trees and vegetation, a wonderful view as the village has the best panoramic view of Thermaikos gulf and above all you will enjoy the peace and quiet of the village.
Platamon castle
The Castle of Platamonas is the most important attraction of Platamonas and in general of the prefecture of Pieria and a "trademark" of the prefecture. During the Byzantine and medieval years, the history of Platamonas was identified with its famous Venetian castle. The illumination of the Castle at night adds to the glamor.
Orlias Canyon
On eastern Olympus, west of Dion, there is a paradise unknown to many! Orlias Canyon is one of the main streams of Olympus and has water all year round. An unforgettable cool experience in a relatively unknown part of Olympus.
